hardly working

I was bored during French class a couple days ago and started flipping through the textbook to look at the pictures. (How shallow does that make me sound?) Weirdly, a lot of the people in there were pretty damn stylish! I took a couple pictures for you guys with the close-up feature on my camera that I have become obsessed with.

So maybe I'm not learning much actual French, but at least I've got some new outfit ideas. I don't think that will help me much on my test though...

HA! I love doing that! I think I've looked at all the pictures in my sociology book, but read like 1/3rd of it!
Good times, love the awsome looks in outdated textbooks... see, there is a upside to school budget cuts!

man, half my french book is filled with lame cartoons, and the other half are stupid looking "teenagers" who all look 20. blah, another reason for me to dislike french

Those are so cute! all the people in my french textbook are really into the 90s, but in a bad way. like, highwaist lightwash mom jeans, and really fucked up haircuts.

It's so funny to see how we are represented in american's french books. In our english books, we learn things about discrination and representation of America. But sometimes you're wearing such old fashioned things, you know :D

There really is style everywhere, right?

Det said...

hahaha the only people in my spanish textbooks are cartoon people with incredibly stringy hair!!!

I just randomly discovered your blog, but is that C'est a Toi?! It's my French textbook too. (: I recognized the font and Leila and Aurelie from the movies. And now I feel like such a French nerd, haha.
