breaking my back just to know your name

Every fall is the same - magazines claim menswear as a major trend and explain how to mix your "masculine" and "feminine" pieces. Although I like both styles, mine isn't really girly or, uh, boyish, so I've never really given the mixing of the two much thought. But I was bored last night (as always) and decided to give the look a try.

It turns out that stereotypically "masculine" clothes are a lot more comfortable (duh), especially since most of my outfits didn't involve heels. I'd definitely wear all of this stuff - once the temperature goes below 90 degrees, that is. I'd forgotten how much I miss layering! I'm tired of summer weather..

Wow, you know how to work these outfits. I would've never put these combos together, but they look fab! I'm gonna need to take notes!

you rock the menswear. you made every outfit so unique in their own way! :) I think my favorite though is the pinstripe one, I just have a thing for pinstripe.

Ahh, I love all of those outfits! My new obsession are those pants with the neon belt.. Genius!
And I totally agree with you how magazines always clam "masculine" to be the new thing. Personally I don't label things as girl or boy, I just don't see it like that!

OK, the outfit with the stripes is absolutely amazing. I would have never thought to wear to striped pieces together like that. I also like the last outfit. The shoes with the argyle socks is an amazing combination. All the outfits look so great on you. I can't imagine how you come up with such great combinations.

Your outfits are wonderful, I'd definitely wear them out. Yeah I agree, it seems that magazines say alot of the same stuff each season, but I think it's for the better, I can't possibly afford to put together a new fall/winter wardrobe each year so when trends repeat it gives me a chance to perfect what I've got!

the first and third outfits are my favorite. The thrifted pants in the first outfit or sweet. I also really like the urban outfitters and h&m pants. Ya I agree. I love the summer, but I find my outfits are more inspiring during the winter because i can just layer it all on.
